I don't think Crosby would be a good deal for us cost wise. I also think we need the extra picks for DBs. I think DB and LB is our biggest need for now.

Probably gonna be priced out with crosby but to classify him as just a “pass rusher “ isnt fair . When healthy he is an every down player who will set the edge as well . Idk how he fits with current roster construction but would be happy to see him here

An elite pass rusher automatically makes the secondary better because it limits the the time it takes for play to develop an so on, if we can get Crosby without giving an arm and leg then it might be worth it if so, especially if You're already looking to draft a pass rusher in first round, Crosby is already proven and still leaves us a first to go after an elite safety or corner

I honestly think it just depends on who they get in free agency. I know people like to play scenarios of getting certain players but in our situation I’d hope they can address (and they will) the entire back half of the defense. This is getting personal for Jerry now, so we getting GAMBLER Jerry and as someone who was too young to experience that era, it’s exciting to watch it unfold in real time.

Why are we forgetting that GP refused to extend last season when Dallas traded for him? I’m all for the players getting paid, but GP bet on himself and it’s paid off. Dallas has every right to make sure the production/durability is there before offering him WR1 money. This is the rare time I’m fine with a franchise tag

It is actually much more respectful and kind to let someone hit free agency so they can choose their own destination rather than Tag n’ Trading them to some place they may not want to go. It is possible that the Bengals organization allowing Trey to go to free agency instead of tagging him is part of their attempt to be amicable to him.

Good morning honey, I’d pass on Max Crosby he’s to much, I would definitely go with maybe like a Trey Henderson and keep our 2-first round picks I’ve been saying this in G’s podcast and lives we need our 2-picks in the draft for sure cuz those picks can play on the field right away, when season starts, you also got to figure Crosby just had surgery as well, what if he comes back and he’s not himself after his surgery, we would be taking chances on him for sure, that’s just my opinion though❗️ DC4L 💙🩶

People get caught up in AAV, but forget to adjust for salary cap inflation. If you made DJ the 12th highest paid QB in terms AAV as a percentage of the cap, that's 20.75% of the cap--62.499 mil. That's too much. Put the transition tag on him, pay Pierce, and see what happens. If you can lock DJ in at 15% (45.18 mil/year), I think that's great. Otherwise, transition tag him

I’ve said this before. They don’t tag and trade cus it’s their way of being respectful to the player. They want give Trey the freedom he says he wants, they aren’t going force him to go somewhere for their benefit. Is this how you run an NFL team? No. But here we are.
