What can you even do against a pitcher like Skubal? Dude’s a stud on the mound. Both him and Skenes are the best pitchers in the game. Watching generational talents like that, all you can do is be in awe.

Mike Trout has 7 home runs this season. Your outfield of prospects has 6. Total. You could have had Mike Trout last season patrolling LF and DHing for the next 5 seasons for a bag of used baseball. AKA those outfield prospects. Or at worst, just the prospects you traded at the trade deadline and in the offseason. This team, and sport, need serious restructuring because these guys that know nothing about baseball have too much influence and shouldnt have any.

This year Randy has changed his pitch mix to leftys notably doubling the use of his changeup which has significantly increased his chase% as well as doubling his whiff% and K%. Less balls in play = less baserunners = less runs allowed. 6 SEA batters whiff at an extremely high rate vs the changeup so it should be effective here.
