imo it started when algorithms started deciding what you see. remember when Instagram went from chronological timeline, when you saw posts from people you followed, in the order they posted them? to "recommended". I hated it bc I was like, where are the posts I was looking for? what is this garbage I'm seeing intead? so now "algorithm" decides how we see the world. very useful if you control it, very dangerous if you're consuming it.

I recently started my career as a high school teacher. I can tell you, most kids recognize the kind of consuming effect that social media and their phones have on them, and many are open to the idea of life without it. We're at the point where there are adults who are younger than smartphones. They know that they don't know any better.

These companies are so sinister, They knew exactly what would happen with these apps and the addiction and harm it would cause!

A cognitive is not a IQ test,it's a test to check your cognitive impairment or brain dysfunction!

The cognitive test that he took is the the Montreal cognitive assessment test it is a basic cognitive function test for determining if a patient has dementia or other cognitive impairment. The only reason you would be shocked if someone got them “all correct “is if they showed multiple other signs of cognitive dysfunction, and still passed the test. Such a situation would be pretty rare. The reason no other president has ever taken. This test is because you are only administered this test when a physician believes you may have mental impairment. It is highly likely that the president has suffered from some form of stroke and has signs of multiple neurological disorders, and they keep administering this test to identify if he is starting to slip into the point where he can be clinically identified as impaired.

These nominees seem woefully under qualified to be judges. They even seem too dumb to be attorneys. Embarrassing.

I wish I had any faith that the "solution" to the problem these companies implemented will look more like "We should stop feeding people a constant flood of things that will make them tense, anxious, and miserable in the name of keeping them engaged and following our advertisers" rather than "We should demand that users of our services provide us identifying data that proves they're not children which we will subsequently exploit for profit and then lose in a data breach".

Please charge them such a big fine that every social media is afriad of making addictive algorithm.
