My daughter served as a missionary under the direction of Sister and President Chibota in Alabama . They are both such kind, loving and faith filled people! Sister Chibota will be a wonderful General Primary President! I sustain her with all my heart!❤

I was more excited to see the new Primary General counselors chose to be homemakers and mothers. I didn’t think their race was as significant as the personal choices they made.

More convert baptisms last year that the entire membership of the church in 1905.😮

How many of those will be active members on the 1 year anniversary of their baptism?

To be honest statistically, why don't they subtract the numbers of members who have resigned or who were excommunicated?

Thank you for the recap, however, one thing caught me is the emphasize of word" black".

Are we concerned that they are black, or are we concerned that they are called of God by prophecy and by revelation by those who are in authority?

Glad to see the church has moved on from preaching Joseph Smith, and is more gospel oriented. I'm not LDS, but still welcome the news.

I wonder when anybody is going to give a talk where all upward parts lead to the top of the mountain. Cool about the black Primary president. She looks like a very nice lady. Nobody can say Pres. Oaks is going to be a staid old conservative. I love the Japanese analogy. There is a LOT we can learn from other cultures - especially the Japanese. My dad faught against the Japanese in WWII, but only spoke good of them his entire life. If you are going to keep moving your hands, please learn ASL so they aren't so distracting.
