I was confused at first, then the second graphic came up with Chris Paul at #9 behind SGA with Steph Curry not on the list. It clearly wasn't "shooting guards only" since there were purer point guards on the list than Steph. How did no one catch this when producing this segment?

Having no KD is NO excuse for Houston when LA is missing BOTH Luka and AR. Edit-Van Fleet didn’t even play this season and Adams has been out nearly all of 2026, Houston made it to the playoffs still without them, so saying “but they’re missing Adams and Van Fleet” is a completely separate issue. And Luka/AR account for 60-70Points, 13Rebounds and 14Assists PER game, KD averages 26/6/5 per game KD’s impact equals half of the impact Luka/AR jointly have-which means the loss of that impact is also halved

You can't compare numbers directly, it's much easier to score now. There's many more points per game. More possessions.

SGA just passed Drexler with the 1FMVP, but if Drexler who went to the Finals 3 times, 2 times as the absolute leader and MVP candidate-his Blazers would have been champs too if they faced those Pacers instead 3 players listed on Nicks top 10-Magic, Jordan and Isiah. Who will we say SGA faced? McConnell? Even if Halli wasnt hurt, legacy wise Drexlers comp vs SGA would still look S tier difficulty in comparison to SGA. So seasons and eras are really just not apples to apples comparisons especially statistically so putting up SGAs stats in a much higher pace league is not just direct comp to Jordan in 90-92 which was what? 10ppg less per game than 2026. Also everyone is just locking SGA as a 2 time champ and MVP prematurely. They struggled several times in last years playoffs. Barring injuries, this season looks to be a harder year for all involved.
