That would mean every team in the league has trash defence lol we are yet to see a team shut him down.

I'm glad that disingenuous argument about Shai's opponents playing against better defense was called out for being petty at the end (Swipa keeps taking obvious jabs at SGA). While technically accurate, you can use that same argument for every wing Jordan played against and say "well his opponents had to be guarded by Pippen, and Jordan didn't". You could also use that same argument for all of Wemby's games because he hasn't faced a rim protector his size and therefore hasn't played against a Spurs defense. It's an easy cop out you can use to discredit anyone on a good defensive team.

Luka was averaging 40 for a month. Law of averages tells you some bad games are due. OKC defense was good and i think everyone already knew they are just a better team but sometimes everything just kinda goes wrong and thats what the Lakers looked like. Whenever people miss the 65 games treshold what I really think about is the All-NBA and All-defense. More likely than not you werent winning the big awards anyway (I think placement matters but you wouldnt get the award). But a lot of stars would still get an all NBA team if they played 60 games.

I watched 80-90% of thunder game this year. SGA started slow like Luka: SGA doesn’t have great first quarter he never does. He also spent a couple possession off ball or pass most and he misses. He gets going always end of second into third and then fourth quarter last 6-7 mins. Luka not doing well in the first quarter is more of a concern so this point is hated because swipa knows this. The point about Luka has to go up against Okc defense and Shai doesn’t is again hate. When it comes to super stars schemes beat them more than individual defense. The scheme against Shai which was done by the Celtic, lakers and Detroit is to limit his drives. One that does is let the role players beat them. Sometimes it works something it doesn’t. Against the Celtics it didn’t work because Okc shot badly . But in these matchup one way or the other Shai will get his 30 efficiently. Luka problem is he wants his and isn’t as meticulous like Shai who picks and chose when to go. Shai will be good against any defense as long as okc role players are good they win the game. He will get his 20+ on good shooting and pass the rock. Shai is just better at basketball and less scheme able.

The Pacers need Peterson not Cam. Why would you start Cam Zubac and Pascal? their spacing would be atrocious compared to their finals run When they had Miles Turner at the five and damn they ran a three guard lineup.
