MCU Mysterio made Mysterio my favourite spiderman villain. They really got to the core of what makes his character so disturbing, for regular people, reality is impossible to come back too unless he wants it to, there’s no spidey sense, no possible scenario where you escape. It’s just fear and overstimulation before a mundane weapon like a gun takes you out.

Jake Gyllenhaal in my opinion doesn't get the credit he deserves as a performer. To me him and Tom Hardy are cut from the same cloth acting wise because they both bring a genuine care to the character that they are portraying while at the same time bring a level of intensity especially for the type of character that warrants it. I don't know if its because Jake Gyllenhaal is considered a "nepo baby" because of his family being connected to the entertainment business even before he was born but he really stands out in whatever role he's playing.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Hugh Jackman should've got an Oscar or even a nomination here. This movie is nothing short of amazing.

fun fact: Hugh Jackman putting the hammer in the wall next to Paul Dano's head was unscripted. Also, in the car scene, everything after, "it hasn't been a fucking week," was also unscripted it's criminal that neither Jake Gyllenhaal nor Hugh Jackman were even nominated for their roles

Omg I clicked immediately. This is one of my favorite murder mystery films with a stacked cast! It's such a good movie. The theater experience was so amazing and had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to the end. I appreciate you guys for this reaction! Buckle up this is going to be a thrill ride
