i read a few weeks ago that turncoat gordon is apparently valued at 90 million and yet the wonderful, Iliman Ndiaye is valued at a paltry 40 million.

Both strikers benefit from playing on the counter attack with balls put in front of them. Neither are particularly good at holding it up on their own. DCL was brilliant at it but it's a thankless task. At home against a low block we need goals from KDH, Garner and Ndiaye.

Well done David Moyes and all the players! 🤗 Though a bit slow but Idrissa Gana Gueye's energy levels and stamina seemed only to increase as the match wore on. Yes Gana had a really good game! And the save Pickford made from Tonali's rocket volley in the injury time was there along with Gordon Banks against Pele in the Mexico 1970 World Cup and of course our own Neville Southall against Tottenham's Mark Falco in the First Division title run-in in spring 1985! Still in this home game Everton could start with a little bit more offensive minded line-up. That could be Ndiaye and George as our wide men and also Patterson as right back. Then could also try Branthwaite and O'Brien as our centre-back duo. Our players, altough committed 100 % to the cause, should also be able, especially now we have reached that 40 point mark 😊, to relax in the right way in our home games. Maybe the results will then improve. It's self-evident that Everton will start in time to win a much larger proportion of our home matches at our new superb Hill Dickinson Stadium. We have also already seen that the atmosphere can really be as good as at Goodison Park, hopefully in time even better! 💙 Usually it's more difficult to win so many away games as we have done now, so that habit would be great to be able to carry on to the next season! 🤗

The balance of the team in Saturday was great alot better than the poor team set up v utd selections away with a pragmatic approach works but it needs changing at home moving O'Brien in the middle with Branthwaite and patto at RB would help loads to be on the front foot we need our full backs to help going forward

David Moyes and Everton are a perfect love story. After years and years of poor results, bad transfer markets and relegation battles, Everton start a new period of their history with a new stadium (will be very important in medium/long term) and they're already in fight for european spots
