We're told that we get the gov't that we voted for. That's not true. The press and politicians have allowed themselves to lie to us. If I lie to a judge, IRS, police, my employer, and so many others, I would pay a consequence. But the places where honesty is most consequential, its perfectly permissible for them to lie to us. How can this be changed? How can they suffer real consequences like emptying their bank accounts and them going to prison for decades rather than just being fired where they join CNN or get on the board of a corporation where they actually get a pay raise by millions of dollars.

So what steps are you going to take now to resolve this problem? Something has to be done.
