I guess Self didn't have the same vision for him on the court. The freedom he referenced. Interesting.

Tiller gonna tells us where he wants to play??? Self couldn't get him to play inside....so telling us where he wants is useless....he may not want to play after a coach gets on his @$$ for not wanting to play inside! Soft as babysh*t!

All these crazy Kansas kooks are on here and other platforms whining about how soft Tiller is, but it sounds like you all hate that he's leaving! We still need some scorers.

I think Koa's draft stock has a chance to increasing substantially if he stays one more year and works on a small handful of things -- increasing his success rate on middle-range shots and free throws (too many shots with no arc missed), ramping up his motor (he often loped up court and seemed slow), and demonstrating stronger hands (he frequently lost the ball when he drove the basket). I know many people will contest these points, but that is what I saw after watching every game this season.

In watching Koa Peat play this year he has all the tools to be great but it seemed his motor was only half the time in high gear which won’t set well with NBA, if he comes back it help him to better his talent to polish his weaknesses, foul shooting ,consistency, rebounding and defense

The nba wants everyone to shoot 3’s and Peat did not showcase that enough in game situations. His NIL will probably about the same as he shuffles lower in the draft predictions because of it. If I were his agent I would see if he can get more out of the NIL, live life in one more year as a kid as a college student and use his second year to highlight a 15-22 foot shot (since he already has a sweet mid range and around the rim game)

How likely do you think Koa Peat is to return to Arizona for year 2?

Ain't. Happenin. It would be so awesome but no way. Love this guy.

Koa Peat will be a higher draft pick next year?Like you said he'll have less competition unless somebody has the best year of their career

It’s all about the money

Not a KU fan, but blows my mind when a kid leaves a blue blood for a bag. Because the short term gain will cost the kid a dozen draft spots in the future. Reputation matters and these agents are doing a disservice to these kids.

good luck you couldnt go it at ku

Wow Bryson. You have now unanimously became the most hated jayhawk of all time! This used to be a big no no!!

It would be hilarious (unlikely) if it gets reported that Tiller took less money to come to Mizzou than Kansas offered. The pieces are coming into place but I agree we definitely need more efficient 3 point and free throw shooters.

Funny how you guys don't bring up Cronister, that dude shoots the three better than anyone on Mizzou and 96%Free throw. That is the SHARPEST of Sharp shooters Miz has. ...

Coleman as a senior shot close to 50% from DT, just think of the lanes Crowe, would've had. Coleman is going to be a star, guarantee it. Illinois being that team with that HC makes me wanna puke. Coleman was talked about here in STL for awhile.... Gates never tried to even get him to come to Mizzou, I couldn't understand it. Then he popped off in the game we all know of and finally Gates, is interested. Just very weird. The best highschool player in Missouri going to Illinois. Ugh. SLU could've gotten him if Josh Schertz, wasn't doing job interviews from the FN SLU campus. All in All I'm excited for this team. Let's not forget about Cronister, he is a elite shooter, that imo will get important minutes this year because he is a 96% type of FT shooter. Imo he will be in the game in crunch times if he is banging 3's and hits from the stripe. I know you are not big on FT shooting, but it's HUGE! Miz lost a few games and barely won a few games because they couldn't shoot from the line. Same with SLU they were even worse from the line.

Understanding the coaching effectiveness and in-game adjustments of Coach Gates.

ModerateOtherExtracted from 2 comments

Gabe, have you actually paid any attention at all to Gates in-game coaching ability. It's horrendous and hasn't gotten better at all in any of the seasons he's been here. He doesn't know how to make adjustments in-game at all. He did get better in conference play last season about tightening his rotations down, which was nice to see, but overall, his rotations and timing of substitutions hasn't been good either.

Gates is a good recruiter but maybe the worst coach in the SEC.
