I think the premium battle pass is what costs money not the regular battle pass

2:27 Interesting that the item the trainers use to Mega Evolve is called the Omni Ring now. I wonder, do you think they’re hiding the gimmick for Winds and Waves by combining everything into a single item?

Z-Moves aren't being added immediately, but the Omni Ring picture shows the Z-Move icon next to the mega evolution icon, and the text on the champions website says "The protagonists of this title wear a device called an Omni Ring, an item necessary for Mega Evolution. It’s similar to the Mega Rings in the Pokémon video game series. Other special features may be added to the Omni Ring in the future!"

The Omni Ring was shown awhile ago in concept art to have the icons for all the gimmicks, yes including the Z-Crystal icon, so yes all gimmicks will eventually become available.

I hope there are more arena settings other than just an indoor stadium... I miss the arenas from Pokémon Stadium games with lava, ice, etc.

I'm noticing a distinct lack of cheering grammas during the battles.

It just needs gym leader castle and a stadium or challenge mode. Maybe even a champion mode where you can fight every region’s champion(s)
