We needed to put in a positive display in order to help confidence. Not sure if we have the countering pressure in order to park the bus against an elite side. You can't park the bus for 90 minutes without a dangerous counter. Becomes too much.

Spurs looked better but I just can't look past them conceding 2 goals yet again. They've conceded 25 goals in their last 10 games. If they don't sort that out, they are down. They remind me so much of Leeds when we went down a few seasons ago. That game against Brighton just reminded me of Newcastle coming to Elland Road and taking a 2-2 draw in a game we should have won and it just killed us.

I think it will be cagey in the 1st half but then Palace players will tire in the 2nd half and that's when we go on to win.

Beat Burnley to put us (Leeds) on 42 and we're 100% safe. I think we're already 99% safe, but 42 points just doesn't get beaten by all 3 below us. Maximum I can see Spurs getting to is 38, *possibly* 39 (that's my 1% doubt of them getting 39 and us losing all our last 5). Also worth noting that we play first out of everyone in the next 2 gameweeks, so psychologically that helps us massively. I just really don't know with Forest & West Ham now. As you say, you can make cases for all 3 below us to put together at least 2-3 more wins, but you can also make cases for one or more of them to just have a stinker and someone goes down with 35-36 points.

Leeds and Forest appear to have sorted themselves out, it's down to us and Spurs now. We just need to continue with the same form from the past 5 games and we should be OK.

Might sound silly but i'd recall Esse... He's won the league with Coventry already; his job there is finished. He's clearly very talented and would make a good attacking sub / league squad player if we are to progress this season. Plus i think he'd relish from Glasner putting a bit of faith in him

Personally I’d play our bench players we have one realistic target, our game in hand is City we have Everton to give three point to and Arsenal to finish so 12 is probably the best we can do.

So its weird because even though i am incredibly nervous, no matter what the result is after the game we are still going to be out the bottom 3 and we need to remember its still in our hands. Saying that however, the anxiety is high today 😂

Last week we started our 7 steps to safety, on Monday the 6th. I am of the view this is also the start of Must win games . Wolves was a game we were expected to or should win. Same as Leeds today and Forest tomorrow , they are expected to win .Palace and every game thereafter becomes a Must win until we are safe . COYI .

I always want Palace to win, but on this occasion I could live happily with a draw. I was wishing for Forest, like most Palace supporters probably? But after today, Sunday's results that ship has sailed I believe? Out of the two in truth, I genuinely don't care, I have close friends who support both, who in truth if the boot was on the other foot, would offer sympathy, but really would feel the same!! Out of the two, it's thumbs down for Spurs I'm afraid, as they've shown how not to run a big Premier League club? Admittedly, the Hammers haven't been exactly much better up until Nuno took charge of the team as results have shown. It's squeaky bum time right up until May 24th. I hate the fact that Spurs play Wolves and probably a much weakened Villa team next two matches. Hopefully Spurs can't take advantage of this and get that all important bounce. Crystal Palace are well in contention for top 7 if they win this evening. It's no easy job for West Ham but they are good enough to pull it off. Tonight is massive. Said over a month ago it's over 40 points needed . Forest could very well be pulled back into the mix looking at their run in plus Europe. I think Leeds are safe.
