While everyone is commenting on Lakshya Sen's improved stamina (and rightly so), have you noticed that his footwork has also become a lot smoother than it used to be an year back?

Those quick flat drives by sen and his perseverance in those rallies were the two key factors that made him outclass a opponent like shu yu qi.

He is definitely a world class player but consistency is an issue

Lakshya has been in the circuit for so long that it is hard to believe that he is only 24. He still has time to go to the top.

This time sen was ultra aggressive. That was the main reason He has great defence . If he keeps on mixing his aggression with defence, he can be damn threatening.

Shi was playing lazily and half-heartedly, by the third game, Sen had clearly speed up, Shi's coach have told him to crank it up, which basically means to accelerate, but he just kept doing the same, and with so many errors, it's no wonder he lost....
