Same thing for riding in the back of trucks. If you have a short haired dog and it's 30 degrees out, it's too cold for that dog to be in the back of your pickup!

YES! All you newbies to Arizona. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG IN YOUR CAR while you run into the store for a few minutes. Ambient air temperature in a closed car reaches 120° in ten minutes, 125° in fifteen. I did hot weather testing for GM for 30 years and can personally attest to watching this happen from inside a car. Surface temp of the dashboard reached 162° F in 15 minutes.

We're on watch today for possible severe weather that's going to then flip to heavy snow...6-12 inches. Spring and winter within a 24 hour period 😱🤦‍♀️😭 Edit: 11 minutes after original post we now have heavy duty thunder!

I feel for you Sweetie. Here in Virginia it was 90 degrees on Wednesday then we had a snowstorm on Thursday...go figure.

I wonder if asphalt is the cause of warming in the cities 🤔

Why are there black asphalt roads instead of with white chips? States and municipalities didn't get the global warming memo.

And this is why the climate change people put their temperature reading equipment near or next too asphalt. Makes us think it's hoter than it is.
