What I find hard to believe is the base in Cyprus appears to have no Radar able to pickup small drones traveling at low subsonic speed. Given the threats that have been around for the last few years. What a sad state of affairs.

The Royal Navy has more Admirals than frontline warships,the British Army has more horses that tanks & armoured vehicles and the Royal Air Force has only 100ish frontline fighter planes so its pretty poor for us isn't it. So the biggest threat to national security in the UK is the short sighted fools in Westminster.

The reason in my opinion the government is not investing in the armed forces is simple… Why would it build up a fighting force to defeat the army who they are importing?

I just hope they have put Dragonfire Laser DEW on HMS Dragon, otherwise its £2m Aster 30 taking out £20k drones. It will take 2 weeks for Dragon to get to Cyprus. The war might finish by then. What happened to MI6 intel?

Yet kier wonka thinks he's going to have a war with Russia . Yet can't even protect Cyprus this is a embarrassing. This entire government is in Dreamland.

Kier is affraid of violence in the streets as he is fully aware of how many extremists that support the islamic regime are sadly our neighbours. Tens of thousands of them, the fact is they have also infiltrated and have influence over our educational institutions, our courts, the prison system, our government and now all said institutions are terrified of offending them to the point they will put all of us at risk to defend them. Truly dangerous times, it worries me deeply that I cant afford to take my children somewhere safe.

GB has invested in an Invasion force being housed at your tax payer expense!! This force is plotting and planning for the right time to finish their invasion of GB.

How bases abroad dont have SA defense as part of their physical security measures as an SOP is beyond me.

Having worked as a aircraft tech on a frontline (The Frontline) base for our Apaches I’ve always said to others how vulnerable everything is, ie where’s all the air defence/SAMs/IADS and I mean proper integrated full link 16 has the air picture air defence capability to protect our bases as there’s a lot of hardware sat on the pan.

Bit late out of the blocks , and why no air defence systems at Cyprus when we have a clear target ?
