I wish he had made an album exploring the transition from fuck boy to lover boy. Instead he just acts like that toxic stuff doesn’t matter anymore. An exploration of the tension that comes with personal growth, the lingering wounds, the bad habits resurfacing, resisting old coping mechanisms etc would have been more compelling in my opinion.
