Am I missing something? If we don’t get our oil from the Middle East and also if we have plenty of oil then how exactly does the Middle East affect our gas prices??

So if we don't need nor use any of the oil coming from other countries. If we're so oil independent, how the hell does Iran attacking any of those tankers affect our fuel prices?

The current price for gas isn't the problem. The price for diesel for trucks is what will cause you to feel the pinch all over your body.

C'est pas demain la veille que le pétrole descendra, même en cas de fin de crise. Pour commencer les pix montent vite mais descendent toujours lentement. D'autre part la demande va être trés forte : les pays qui ont touché à leur réserve stratégiques (Japon, Italie...etc...) vont vouloir se reconstituer, et enfin la crise à mis le doight sur une chose : notre dépendance, or c'est la fin du pétrole à moyen terme. Même quand cela descendra cela va rester élevé.
