I hope the Ravens enjoy Trey Hendrickson. All it cost them (other than money) is their reputation. I predict Baltimore can still talk trades with other teams but their will be a "Baltimore Tax" included in the talks.
Once they convinced Trey to sign with them they immediately backed out of the Crosby deal saving themselves 2 1's and some money in the long run but still getting a good player for that position. But it was a grimey move and thier reputation is hit hard and it could easily cost them opportunities down the line and outright refusals to work with them or get handshake deals
It seems clear to me that this is just the Ravens reneging after they were able to sign Hendrickson. They wanted an top D-end. They would get Crosby if they didn’t get Hendrickson, and now they get Hendrickson without giving up two 1st round picks. It will be interesting to see how the other front offices deal with the Ravens going forward.
