Karen misunderstands how time works. This isn't kindergarten, where you get to claim dibs on something just because you got there first. That's not how things actually work. If there's a stop/start to a food service based on the hours it is served (and not "until we run out"), then the food remaining goes magically away at that Stop Time. It's an Easter miracle. Just because Karen was in the restaurant at brunch time and refused to order anything Brunch, doesn't mean she gets to rewind the clock. "I was here when it was time.", Well, I was in the house at the same time Artemis II launched. Just because it was on TV, but I missed it, doesn't mean I can call NASA and have them redo things. My missing the LIVE EVENT means I missed the LIVE EVENT. Welcome to Life, Karen, where every day is a LIVE EVENT! My WORD! She was spun up! I guess being told about Easter miracles just soured her for the day. What a miserable person.

Servers ask questions and clarify things. Because people have no idea what they want or how to act. Now when you walk in just as things are wrapping up don't expect to get what you want if you wait until well after things are over.

My goodness. Easter brunch as a patron is so easy. You show up, be nice, eat the food, and make sure you take care of the people who gave up their holiday to make yours special. Why make life hard when it really isn’t? (Leaving in 15 minutes for Easter brunch.)
