I agree with you. There's no way to tell whether there's a quarter of an inch space between his hand and his chest. They should just ban the putter, so that there's no controversy.

Make rule: "there must be visible space between top of putter and the body" or you get called on it. Damn this is so hard to figure out.

I would say no. If they were to make a fifth I feel it should be internationally located. The slippery slope argument also then becomes which course becomes the sixth? If they do then career majors needs a before and after date.

I’d have asked if their plans for reaching bigger markets includes Seattle/Portland. The PNW is starved for Men’s Pro Golf, as we haven’t had an event since the 2015 US Open.

I think something not being talked about enough is eligibility and qualifications for tournaments. I'm all for a simplified and unified system/model that eradicates my need as a fan to read a page and a half report on how a guy qualified to play. I think simplification is needed there, I also think more clarity and transparency is needed if it stays the same as it has been. That being said, what would then happen to Monday Qs? I believe it should be streamlined, but some of the best drama comes from those Monday Qs before the tournament even starts.

Here is an idea for the postseason. Rank the 120 players based on the year points and promote the top 80 players into the post season. At that point the top 20 are named captains. Then you start a draft where each captain picks 3 players in 3 selection rounds to form a team of 4 players. These teams then battle it out in a match play modality in a series of tournaments to declare the champion team of the year. The draft alone would be electric. The prize for the winning team should be money, prestige, and points for the next year’s tournament (a head start). The bottom 15-20 players in the year need to battle it out with aspirants from the lower tier tournament in a series of relegation tournaments.

If a broomstick putter is cheating, then they would all use it. You ever putted with a broomstick? It’s harder than it looks, and it is harder to judge distance, so there is give a take with this putter, that’s why only a handful use them.

That’s golf … some bad shots and great saves … all with that putting , it’s hard to watch sometimes 😂 I really though Berger was gonna run away it … but I think akshay is still young enough and doesn’t have as much scar tissue where he can be more fearless
