But 'Banganga' the Ganga which arose from a shot of 'Baan' or arrow and formed the holy waterbody is known. Another interesting feature about the location is that classical performances take place when the entire area and lake take on a beautifully lit up glimmering appearance and audience is sitted on the steps to enjoy the classical programmes. Another little known fact is that entire waterbody is cleaned regularly as it's used for asthi visarjan and other ancestral worship offerings etc.and It's flushed into the sea. And the space fills up again on It's own through the spot from beneath the ground where the arrow was shot by Ram.
