You generally got to feel bad for Mike Trout because since 2021 he has gone through more than any other active player literally.

Damn! Trout can't catch a break. It's like he's got a ball magnet on his hand. Speedy recovery sir!

At this point Mike Trout might generally be the most unfortunate player ever because even though he has 3 MVPs. He has been suffering for 5 years now and he still goes out to give his all when he gets the opportunity. May God Protect Mike Trout at all Cost 🙏 because he is One of the Greatest Players and most humble people on this planet.

If the right fielder wanted to play in the stands for a pitch and eat a hot dog, and the ball is hit to him and he catches it. It’s an out.

A fielder may “reach over” a fence (etc.) or “climb on top of” a fence, tarp, whatever. Neither scenario described allows for the fielder to wind up completely on the other side of whatever barrier he encountered. It’s a very rare situation, but this might be something the rules committee should clarify in their next update.

That last homerun robbery is a catch since he was not entirely outside the field of play when he secured the ball for the catch. However, since he did subsequently go entirely out of play with the ball in possession, another rule comes into play which allows all runners to retouch and advance one base (the ball is dead) ... unless the catch results in the third out of the inning.

Why did Luke Raley go back to first base instead of going to second when he was so close in the 9th? I don’t know if he made that decision or the first base coach told him to come back. He would have made it easily and ended up scoring to tie. Idiotic base running!

Instead of a letter from Felix to Cal, the next Mariners commercial should be one from Felix to the pitchers, telling them he knows how they feel, getting zero run support. Naylor didn't even take a step inside, or outside, to clear his throwing lane for that double play. That was some of the worst defensive play I've ever seen from him.

On the bright side, at least it wasn’t another one run loss. But seriously, they are wasting some good pitching.

There's been a fair bit of bad batted ball luck, especially on this road trip, but that's something that over a larger sample will balance out. So that's not an issue. The issue right now is the pitchers still struggling with putting hitters away after getting ahead 0-2 or 1-2 in the count and throwing a ton of pitches and the biggest issue has been the defense which is not something that will even out over a large sample. That really needs some serious hard work and improvement, because it's led to so many runs that just shouldn't be scoring.

As n Astros fan we are in shambles the pitching is terrible. Imai let us down after a great start in Sacramento. Then you bring back JP France who was just in the minors fresh off an injury that was a wreck. Aragetti or Alexander should've came up instead

Jesse winker is forever a Mariner legend for that brawl. I didn’t care if he batted below the Mendoza line for his entire time here. Taking on the entire angels bench alone wanting all the smoke. And jp ran over just in time to back him up not break it up, but start actually throwing punches. Anyway, that game was the catalyst for the mariners going on a run and making it to the playoffs for the first time in 20 years. #winkerforever

Takin a step back for the next 20 years

Well not trying to get any solid pitching or bats..it's showing now..something is going on inside that dugout and locker room..because seattle isn't playing like they were last year a game away from the world series . the refusal to get pitching they desperately need and a couple of solid batters..but the morale is suspect..likely coming Seattle's upper management and gm..content on just getting players off waivers and hoping they work isn't getting them a championship contender team..

Gore and Nimmo have been amazing pick ups. Hoping that Langford, Smith, and Jung can get it really going soon!

I'm a fan of Cal Raleigh since he's a fellow North Carolinian. But last year was an anomaly. I got a feeling the mariners may end up regretting trading Harry Ford and giving Raleigh the long term deal.
