I saw Carlitos practice at Indian Wells. I could see in his eyes and mannerisms that he was burned out. So much stress at such a young age. And with all the guys elevating their game to pull him down. So go and rest young man. Then come back stonger

I just love this guy and want the very best for him. I'm seeing in him right now what I saw in a young Boris Becker so many years ago - the threat of burnout resulting from the pressure of so much so soon, and the exhausting feeling of ALWAYS HAVING TO WIN. Focus on feeling good Carlos, and if this continues even take a bit of time off if need be.

Mentre a livello di punti Alcaraz è di poco (almeno per ora) davanti a Sinner, a livello mentale, di atteggiamento, di maturità tra i due c'è un abisso. E in questo Sinner non è secondo a nessuno!

Allaa fine dello scorso anno quando alcaraz aveva scalzato al numero 1 Jannik avevo detto una cosa "adesso sono ca@@i suoi". Io non sono così convinto che Carlos sopporti bene la pressione del vertice come il suo rivale. Sinner convive con l'aspettativa per la gestione mentale da quando è un ragazzino.

( nulla contro lo spagnolo ) io gongolo se penso ai cari detrattori finalmente il karma ha zittito tutti gli haters di Sinner che lo davano finito fino a un mese fa e che pensavano che Carlos Alcaraz fosse imbattibile, i cali li ha anche lui perché è umano esattamente come Sinner. Really liked how Korda kept it simple and played his ground strokes deep - kept Carlos behind the baseline away from the attacking area and net. Allowed him to win with his serve and return.

Korda's serve,return and slice were amazing.

I noticed something that Nik mentioned before about Carlos: his recovery after hitting serves was poor. I actually thought his first serve was okay today. Not great but enough. But he did miss A LOT of plus-ones, especially on second serves, like he couldn’t even find the court. On the other hand, Korda moved in on all his returns and it worked out well.

What also played a big factor was that korda served lights out while carlos had a very bad day in the serving department
