well timed, an hour after this dropped, claude goes down with a 500 error on api calls.

That drop from thousands of tokens to hundreds really stood out. It’s a clear reminder that performance isn’t just model quality, it’s access to compute behind the scenes.

lol, I warned you guys about Claude's usage limits a couple of weeks ago. 😂 Being compute constrained like this effectively means I might as well be using Claude 1.0 cuz I can't trust what comes out of Claude's mouth and I ain't getting nothing done!

What's their plan though? When the model 2 gens on from mythos comes out needing 4x the energy mythos takes to run? I can't believe this works out, like at all.

Already saw this coming a mile away when free tokens suddenly started getting fewer and fewer and fewer and suddenly one day after one single question "Please upgrade to Premium " In the coming mnoths you will start seeing new membership tiers created as they completely do away with the free option and start reducing the tokens on membership accounts. Start building local LLMs.

We all knew this day would come when the restraints would be applied. Still sucks tho.

Kudos to the company that found this issue with their AI product and not releasing it to the public.

Anthropic doesnt release it, because it just doesn't exist. It's business tatics and to attract more investments and stuffs.

Imagine Trump having Mythos as a weapon! Terrifying. Good that Anthropic no longer serves the US Department of Defence. Doing the right thing to keep that beast locked up. Ideally destroy it so the US government can’t use twisted law to get their hands on it.

It was truly a weird last month, with numerous logout interruptions. Currently, the best way to proceed is to rely on the opus (code) to build things but run them locally. Models are increasingly accessible, but the SDK is still missing.

They should reverse this and let Mythos find the hackers who are causing so much harm.
