Im on base PS5, just use Balanced mode and turn down the particle effects, works perfectly fine!

I've been playing for about 6 hours on base PS5, and I've got some tips. Play on Balanced mode. Turn down particle effects. Go to your PS5's video settings and look at your current settings. This will tell you what your TV allows in terms of frame rate. If your TV doesn't support 120hz, change that setting on PS5 from "Automatic" to "Off." After I did those things, the game runs great and looks fantastic.

The trick is to go into accessibility settings, turn blur off and turn depth of field off. Everything looks MUCH BETTER after that.

Playing on quality mode on the base ps5. I am blown away by how gorgeous this game is. And the draw distance is insane. Edit: I understand why some ps5 buyers don’t like the game. But you need to realize that the base ps5 is 6yo already, it’s ancient. Set your expectations properly. Oh and try to not get offended by different opinions because they are just opinions after all.

I’ve played about 3 hours mainly on balanced mode on base ps5, and really enjoying it! I’ve switched to quality mode a couple times to walk around and appreciate the graphics.

This game really needs a demo so people can decide. This game is gonna be very hit or miss for a lot of people

Not sure if this is a common problem or not but on base ps5 the edges of the screen are being cut off and it seems like there's no way to fix it. I've also had a few crashes when opening the map.

Was going good on PS5 base for a day and a half then lastnight the game started crashing every time I would open my map. Reloaded my game and it crashed 5 times in a row. Finally played for like an hr without opening my map then finally opened it and the game froze and crashed so I quit for awhile. Was having an absolute blast too so I hope they figure it out.

I'm playing it on PS5 and I've been having this issue where after a while of playing, if I open the game map, it suddenly freezes and kicks me out to the PS5 home screen. This has happened a lot and I'm getting really frustrated! Has anyone else experienced this? Please help 😢

Gameplay it's great, reminds me of my opening hours of breath of the wild. Loving seeing videos of tips and tricks like how to get under waterfalls or quicker ways to chop wood. Again this reminds me of BOTW shield sledding and other sort of hidden game mechanics. I'm convinced if this was Nintendo it would be a 10.

I can't stop playing this game. It is a little overwhelming with the instance amount to learn for combat and systems and moves and so on, but I obsessed! Almost call off each day just to stay home to play! hahahahahaha!

Ahhh, once you mentioned the controller layout then the input lag made sense. There is a delay waiting for all buttons to be pressed before accepting the input.

i played 12 hours on base ps5 and didn't find the controls confusing at all. and the game plays and looks great (i used balance mode). edit- the thing that stood out to me is just how BIG the game is. i never made it out of the opening region........and even then, i haven't even seen half of it!

tu foi bem transparente e verdadeiro cara, as pessoas tavam esperando coisas incriveis e vao se decepcionar.... oq quebrou ai foi a falta de imersao e a nao recompensa por exploração. pelo que eu vi , os mods vao salvar esse jogo
