I reckon Barca win off a nufc mistake, scrappy game but I can see Newcastle making huge mistakes and I can’t see Barca scoring in normal fashion

I think we’ll see one of the best performances of the season. I think it was so important for Raphina to get some confidence back and Concelo pushing up has opened up a lot for our attack. Cubarsi has been in the best form of this season at the back. This game will be won in the middle of the park. Pedri will shine

Blue but not because I need to be Sunderland. It's because I believe, for our long term future, we need to get European football next season and now we have an opportunity to finish 7th and get Europa. As much as I've joined the CL, it's part of our journey, not the destination! I believe this season has marked the end of "phase 1" since the takeover, which has been a resounding success but the squad is ageing and we've lost a few of our stars. Therefore, if we can get back into the Europa league next season, sign 5+ new players that add youth and potential to the squad (think the next Bruno, botman isak) we'll be in great shape to compete for top 5 in the seasons to come. I fear if we lose to Sunderland our long term future will suffer...

Barca win is most important for the ducats and prestige shop window to make NUFC more compelling to potential targets! Too late for us to get champions League via the league at this point and Europa & Conference league are not going to be much of an additional draw for top quality players.
