That torpedo completely DELETED the entire rear of that ship! 😮

That torpedo blew the whole stern off the ship.

It's insane to me how much energy that torpedo has to release in order to lift the entire rear end of the ship out of the water like that.

The last time a surface ship was sank by a submarine was during the Falklands war, when the Belgrano was sunk by the HMS Conquerer.

Wow......... Last time the Navy torpedoed a ship in wartime. It was probably fired by a Gato-Class sub in 1945 off the coast of Japan. Wow.

As a Sri Lankan, I wasn't expecting this war coming near our doorstep. Update: 32 sailors have been rescued by Sri Lankan authorities.

Just for Infromation This incident occurred a few miles off the coast of Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan Navy received a distress call at 5:00 AM this morning and immediately dispatched two naval vessels and a scouting plane to the scene. According to current news reports, 32 sailors have been rescued, while approximately 100 others are still missing. The bodies of 80 sailors have been recovered by the Sri Lankan Navy during the operation. The Iranian ship was reportedly attacked while returning from India after participating in a naval exercise.

Kudos to the Sri Lankan Navy 🇱🇰 that rushed in and saved over 30 human beings and recovered over 80 bodies for a respectable burial.
