We need to change the rules on overseas club player not being able to be called up to the England squad, obviously the Willis brother are a huge miss, but an added point is players when they do move back into the squad haven't learned or aren't used to the system yet. I think arundale is a good example of this. If he was allowed to be in the squad while he was in france, think of all the extra training sessions he would of had. In his last couple of games it didn't look like he was used to our defensive system yet, would of this happened if he had an extra couple of years in the squad while he was in france? Its important to have our talents developing and learning with the squad even if they are not playing, to learn the system and build chemistry so they can slot in and out.

What’s the point of changing the entire backline but continuing the run Itoje into the ground?

How do we convert in their 22? Get rid of our most efficient 10? ie Ford!

When England won twelve on the trot the rugby was off load/quick hands. We now have the issue of kick and contest and referees watching everything to the nth degree. Once your playing with fourteen men things get a lot harder

i think there's two separate things. 1. england haven't been very good, which has been surprising. they had a successful game plan last year, and it was successfully countered by scotland and ireland. also, england have been sloppy and inaccurate when they did try to attack, and their defensive discipline has been weirdly sloppy. 2. the bigger issue, imo, is that the game seems to becoming more high-scoring, and that's now how borthers has designed the team to play. 2 is potentially a huger issue. or, i guess, work on defense sooo much that they stifle everyone at the world cup and win the tourney with an average margin of less than 3

Any thoughts on why so many England players injured - Will Stuart - Asher Opoku-Fordjour - Finn Baxter - George Martin - Ben Curry - Emeka Ilione - Alex Mitchell - Ollie Lawrence - Feyi-W - Radwan - Furbank (not match fit) Plus non-sensical omissions - Ojomoh - Hill Plus omissions due to inflexible overseas policy - Jack Willis - Tom Willis If England want to have any chance to win the world cup in 2027, they'll need to make good some of the above

Personally given how we've performed there's a lot of head scratching over how a 12 on the bounce squad could drop off so badly so I would be cautious over knee jerk reactions but something obviously has to change, but please for the love of all that's holy stop this Freeman at 13 experiment, I know he has had a few run outs for Saints at 13 but the prem is not test rugby, what he offers on the wing is way more than what he offers at centre and he simply isn't the hybrid player Borthwick thinks or hopes he is, Lawrence obviously isn't 100% fit but I'd rather play Slade at 13 to keep Freeman on the wing, also Itoje needs to be rested, given the death of his mother late last year and constantly playing isn't doing him or England any favours and could do more harm than good for the future. Let him rest and recharge so he's the player we know he is when we need him most for the WC.

I wish they'd give Itoje a sabbatical. The guy looks knackered.

Questionable selection in my view but I'm Welsh and never coached a day in my life so I'll trust Steve has a plan in mind. I suspect looking to the Summer, but if that was the case honestly I'd just blood the next generation and give them game time

Quick question why not play freeman on the wing where he has the most experience and then play slade at 13 who’s been going well in the prem and brings also a experienced head in along side seb. I know that would be murley out but it would give you more experience across the backline. Or put max alongside seb a new pairing but an extremely talented pairing! Just a Scotland fan so I might be missing smth as I don’t know the vibe in English rugby team
