Need to understand the specific context and implications of Keir Starmer's political decisions and statements, particularly regarding foreign policy and national security.
Have I got this right? 1. NATO is a defensive allience and there is no obligation for a member to help another that acts offensively to sstart a war. 2. The USA started a war with Iran without consulting other NATO members? 3. Other NATO members therefore have no obligation to assist the USA under the NATO charter?
To recap. Has the chance to do something different from every president for the last 50 years. Instead listens to the hawks. Launches a war with Israel with the aim of bombing a country into submission even though this strategy has never worked effectively. Now realises that there is no end in sight and actually Iran has everyone over a barrel (oil ironically) by closing the straits and attacking oil installations all over the Gulf. Looks to blame someone so picks on the same allies that stuck with the US through Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya etc. Meanwhile the global economy starts to go into meltdown. Brilliant strategy. Sigh…
Starmer will wait until an IRGC missile actually hits you before he even considers fighting back. And he still won't fight back.
Need for clarification on the geopolitical situation, specifically the US involvement in conflicts and the UK's role and obligations.

So the US doesn't have the resources to open the strait of Hormuz he needs others to do it without committing us resources then he wants the victory. It's his mess let him take the wrap.
It is not the job of the UK to clean up when the USA craps itself
Seeking to understand the effectiveness and rationale behind specific political actions or inactions by UK politicians, particularly Keir Starmer.
Starmer and his labour government are dividing the people of the UK intentionally get them out
In one word, Coward.
Starmer should of been in from the start they attacked Cyprus for fucks sake
Desire for more SNL UK content, including dedicated social media channels and full episode uploads, to better access and engage with the show.
Petitioning for a distinct YT channel for SNL UK.
You really need to get a separate channel for these SNL UK clips. There are UK comedy fans who would subscribe to a SNL UK YouTube channel, but won’t subscribe to the main Sky channel because they don’t want to be inundated with other Sky videos.
Please use a new YouTube channel for these. Foolish decision to put these on the regular Sky YT channel
Curiosity about the specific comedic performances and impressions within SNL UK, particularly regarding the accuracy and impact of celebrity impersonations.
Should have been Philomena Cunk with her in the monologue
As a UK guy, this is not bad. The Starmer impression is spot on!
The guy who played Dianna was so good, the way he was eyeing the camera was hilarious, really good impression 😂
Desire for more in-depth analysis or commentary on the political figures and events featured in the videos, beyond the comedic sketches.

THIS GUY IS 💯 CORRECT. MEANWHILE STARMER STILL REFUSES TO PROSCRIBE THE IRGC.
The UK shouldn't allow the US to launch illegal strikes from it's territory. That makes the UK complicit in an illegal war. This is a huge mistake, Iran is not Iraq.
Desire to see more of specific recurring characters or impressions from SNL UK, such as Princess Diana or Keir Starmer.
I hope that Diana becomes a regular that randomly pops up in episodes to steal the show as she/he does here 🤣
As a UK fan of the US SNL, the Attenborough sketch was a tough watch for me personally. However, that Starmer impression genuinely had me laughing. Amazing work on matching his cadence, should definitely be a regular bit like the Trump skits in the US. This has given me hope for the rest of the show, wish you all the best.
Give Jack Shep a BAFTA already for his Princess Di - Brilliant! 🎯👏🏽
Interest in understanding the comparison between SNL UK and SNL US, including differences in humor, style, and content.
Wow. As American I'm going love this version of SNL UK 🇬🇧 🙌🏾.
Watching SNL from a British perspective is something I had no idea I needed in my life
Absolutely brilliant! What a great start for SNL-UK! I have been looking forward to the UK version of Saturday Night Live, ever since I first read that this was actually happening. Bringing in Tina Fey as the guest host for the premiere was a really smart move. She was such a vital writer and cast member on the original, and her presence helped give this launch instant credibility. I loved “The Budger,” because we have all dealt with not being able to find the “X” to close a pop-up, the screen jumping at the exact moment you try to click something, getting redirected to a page you had no intention of going to—it’s the kind of everyday frustration we all experience, and they turned it into something genuinely funny and very relatable. As an American, I’ve always felt that many British comedies are actually better than what people often consider the best from the U.S. I have a pretty short list of American shows that even come close to my favorites from across the pond—Fawlty Towers, Yes Minister, Absolutely Fabulous, Keeping Up Appearances, French and Saunders, and Are You Being Served. There’s just a level of wit and style there that hits differently. I’ll definitely be watching future episodes of SNL UK, especially to see how bold they’re willing to be when it comes to political satire. With everything going on in the U.S., particularly surrounding Donald Trump—his lies, greed, criminal convictions, and ongoing allegations—I’m curious to see if the show leans into that and isn’t afraid to call it out. From an outside perspective, the United States has become a bit of a laughing stock globally, and British satire has always had a reputation for being fearless. Overall, great first episode—and I’m looking forward to seeing where they take it next.
Curiosity about the specific comedic techniques and writing behind SNL UK sketches, such as the 'Budger' sketch.
I now think of this every time the X is way too small or the article budges. Well done.
The bit on Xs for adverts was PERFECT. I think I’m gonna love this show!
This is incredibly accurate 😂
Interest in the cultural references and humor specific to the UK within SNL UK, and how they are perceived by a broader audience.
Love all the totally relevant modern references to British TV there - the kids will definitely love a Reginald Perrin reference :-)
I grew up in Pennsylvania and we watched all those British TV shows growing up too! Tina’s compilation of impressions from them made me so happy! Mrs. Slocombe forever!
