What’s most attractive is each space having its own unique set of colors, texture and materials. She’s not afraid of the dark and dramatic. I think the biggest mistake people make is thinking the entire home has to have the exact same everything throughout. Yes, that can be interesting in it’s own right but I find mixing and matching so much more appealing. Love her eye. Brilliant. ❤

it kind of is really depressing when you get old enough to realise 90% of all creative industries are nepobabies. i'm very into film and it feels like every time i google an actor these days, they have famous parents.

I wonder how devastating it would be to be used like that at 16 to make a buzz. Like imagine a kid who has interest in photography, grown adults sell this this dream of shooting a Burberry campaign, and it's all for bad buzz, and now, engaging in his passion isn't the same anymore because he can't fulfill professional expectations and everything might feell so sour. I'mnot saying that to say "oh poor nepo babies". I think they have it really good. I'm just wondering as a person how it would feel to get into a craft and this happens.

I agree with what you’ve said but I’d like to add, I think it’s a real shame that if Brooklyn did want to be a professional photographer that his parents didn’t encourage him to study, to work as an assistant etc for several years and really learn the craft. Also, I think it’s very sad how demoralising this must be for less fortunate young people, who would love to work in the industry and might well not bother to even try, as Brooklyn and others like him, will always be ahead.

I especially feel like the women models in this campaign got the short end of the bargain. A lot of the shots of the men look good and natural, and then the women are poorly/overly retouched

I’m wondering..is it an issue in this industry that photo editors will photoshop women models more than men? It seems more of the women in this campaign were blurred more, like there’s still a societal expectation for women to appear perfect. Maybe I’m looking too much into it. You did show that one of the women models’s photo still had blemishes showing. I like that. It’s not a makeup campaign so I don’t understand why the skin needs to be perfect and smoothed.

I feel that they retouch much more if the model is a women than on a man idk just my opinion.
